Q&A: Is use of disabled parking by owner allowed?
A LookUpStrata reader with a disabled parking permit wanted to know whether he was allowed to use the visitors car park disabled spot.
This owner has 2 parking spots allocated to his apartment, however is having difficulty get in and out of his car when parked in these spots.
In summary, the owner is not allowed to use the visitors parking disabled spot as he does not qualify as a visitor., however the Owners Corporation may agree to a car parking swap. For this to take a effect a number of options are available.
