For those who like statistics, we have some numbers that might interest you. A total of 76,733 Strata Schemes were registered in NSW in February 2017.
SCA (NSW) reports that as of February 2017 there were 821,044 strata lots registered with the NSW Land and Property Information (LPI), which is a significant 12,668 lots or 1.6% increase since September 2016, when the LPI recorded 808,376 lots.
The majority of these lots are in smaller strata schemes, with almost 90% of all schemes having up to 20 units. Interestingly, the share of larger schemes with more than 20 units is growing at more than double the average growth rate.
There are now more than 7,905 strata schemes in NSW with more than 20 units, nine of these strata schemes had more than 500 units!
